Hey guys, if you read my stories you will know what I am talking about. Just 3 months ago I discovered a wonderful breakfast place in the middle of Budapest in a very well hidden and totally lost location. I fell in love with Lion´s, as Árpad and Gábi Kreisz call their place. The great service attitude of the owners, their sense of humor, their genuine caring are just outstanding in Budapest. I wrote an article and posted it here. https://targetexecutivesearch.com/blog/best-breakfast-budapest-we-are-product

I have been back several times and saw the popularity rising every time, but yesterday beat all my expectations. The place has reached cult status! People from all over the world were actually queuing on the street and ready to wait 20-30 minutes just to be seated and become part of the experience. If you google on Trip Advisor for "Budapest best breakfast", Lion´s comes in number 1 position. Wow! What a success story!

Now Árpad and his family have to meet the next challenges. Keep up the high level and deal with the crowd, maybe even expand their place. What can we learn from this? Most of all that great service is still so rare around here that when people discover it, word of mouth just spreads like wildfire. We also learn that a great service restaurant can boom even in a zero frequency location. Some people may argue that there is great service in many places, restaurants, hotels. Yes, but such service is often cold and artificial, the smiles and gestures are trained. Árpad, the owner of Lion´s just genuinely loves people. You can feel that. He will shake your hand and pat on your shoulder. It truly feels being welcome, almost like visiting friends. And Yes, as I predicted in my first article, from now on I have to reserve a table there. :-)
