2022 has been our best year ever! Congratulations to our entire international Team and a Big Thank You to all our clients and candidates, who support us along our journey. As you can see from the chart on the picture, our turnover increased around 20% compared to last year (2021) and even 70% compared to the first COVID year 2020.
Why is our headhunting business so good despite of the multiple crisis all around us? A simple answer could be: “Because we are doing a good job, better than others!”
I think the answer is more complex. “Yes, almost 30 years as TARGET company and 250 years of accumulated staff headhunting experience is hard to beat!” However, there is also the world around us. The baby boomer generation is starting to retire, and not enough young people are coming on the job market. Supply and demand of qualified people is increasingly out of balance. The COVID experience has also added a new challenge to the labor market. We have all learned that video solutions and home office are a viable option. Many candidates demand hybrid (partly home office) workplaces and are not willing to change for full time office jobs. This is further limiting the pool of candidates for companies that are not flexible. Plus, in our CEE markets we see a third factor: More and more people want to go abroad and try out the life in a cool and trendy place to live. Most of our CEE countries and societies still must learn to position and market themselves among international competition against places like Barcelona, Lisbon, Munich, Vienna, Paris, Scandinavia etc.
All these factors combined mean that talent in CEE is scarcer than ever. Job ads often yield zero results. Sophisticated headhunting is needed, and this is our business!
